The P2035 features 600 dpi and 1200 dpi modes and prints at a fast 30 pages per minute. It has 16 MB of RAM on board and uses a 266 Mhz processor for very rapid printing.
HP has released this printer in a network-ready version, the P2035N; in a duplex version (printing on both sides of paper is of no value for sublimation), the P2035D; and in a two-paper-drawer version, the P2035T.
It has a recommended maximum duty cycle of 2500 pages per month, which is about 100 sheets per business day. We’ve run the printer at more than 500 sheets per day with no difficulty at all.
The printer has a “Quiet Mode,” which makes it almost silent, but reduces the speed in half to 15 pages per minute. Still incredibly fast.
It measures about 14 1/2 by 14 1/2 by 10 inches high, and weighs just under 22 pounds.
The P2035 comes with a one-year HP warranty, and is available from office supply stores for $229.
